Chester le Street Town ended the game 1 -1 at home to Hebburn Town,scoring with a late equaliser
After 11 minutes, a long through ball sent Michael Hepplewhite racing clear but his shot across the goal went wide of the far post. A minute later a cross from the right found Channon North but Jack Wilson made a good save low down to his right. After 14 minutes the ball was played over from the left to Gary Shaw who headed down and when the ball bounced up Wilson made a good save to tip it over the bar. After 23 minutes, David Surrey made a good cross from the left but Hepplewhite headed over the bar from a good position. Two minutes later a Hebburn corner from the left into the middle saw North run in but he put his firm header over the bar. Half Time ended 0 – 0
After 46 minutes, the ball was pulled back from the right by-line to Shaw but he fired wide from close range. Hebburn then came close to a breakthrough goal after 54 minutes when a free kick was played into the area to Samuel Bramley but his effort came back off the bar and the ball was cleared. Hebburn took the lead after 59 minutes when Mecheck Kanda headed in a corner from the right and although Surrey looked to have hooked the ball clear off the line, the assistant flagged that it had crossed the line. After 62 minutes a ball into the area was won by Lee Mole and he put the ball to Kieran Megran but he screwed his shot wide of the target. Hebburn came close to doubling their lead after 74 minutes when the ball was pulled back to Kristopher Hughes who fired in a good shot which brought a great save from Wilson. After 85 minutes Hughes slipped the ball through to Bramley but he pulled his shot wide of the goal. Chester equalised after 87 minutes when a corner from the left was only cleared to the right side of the area and Christopher Stephenson crossed the ball back for Alexander Walker to fire in.
